The University of Nebraska–Lincoln awarded promotion and/or tenure to 101 faculty — including four Computer Science and Engineering faculty — in 2020.

The following CSE faculty have been promoted or granted tenure:

Promoted to Associate Professor and Granted Tenure
• Juan Cui, computer science and engineering
• Massimiliano Pierobon, computer science and engineering
• Bonita Sharif, computer science and engineering

Promoted to Full Professor
• Lisong Xu, computer science and engineering
