Software and algorithms for parallel computers especially for partial differential equations. Adaptive finite element methods. Design of mathematical software in high level languages. Scaleable parallel libraries. Use of MatLab.

Analysis of large data sets, algorithms for data mining, and innovative manipulation of data.  Use of Matlab.

 

·         Software Engineering
Parallel programming languages. Data abstraction, object-oriented design. Tools to support software engineering. Software reusability. Use of modern software engineering principles in scientific computing.
