CSCE 496/896 : Project

In this project, you will be asked to build an application to control the SCHORR CENTER LIGHTs using state-of-the-art wireless sensor nodes (Crossbow MICAz, IRIS, iMote, and SUN SunSpots), CMOS cameras, and software development tools. You will have the chance to apply the concepts in hardware design, software development, and communication to practical embedded system development.project about how real sensor networks work. A group of 3-4 students will work on a project as a team. Each group will have access to the wireless sensor network testbed during the semester. At the end of the semester, you will present your project using the wireless sensor network testbed.

During the first weeks of the class, you will be given an individual assignment to familiarize with the testbed and its tools, you will form groups of 3-4 students, and each group will propose their project topic for approval.
