Multi-Dimensional Chromatography
Systems, Informatics, and Applications

An advanced seminar on comprehensive multi-dimensional gas chromatography

This seminar surveys current frontiers of comprehensive multi-dimensional gas chromatography (GCxGC), a powerful new technology for chemical separations. Topics include the theory, history, and engineering of GCxGC systems; GCxGC data processing and analysis; and GCxGC applications.

This Internet-based seminar is a collaboration of chemistry and computer science faculty, students, and scientists at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Spelman College, Oakland University, Swiss Federal Inst. of Technology at Lausanne (EPFL), U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and GC Image, LLC. Seminar participants share audio, video, interactive presentations, and applications via AccessGrid. Students may register for graduate credit through the University of Nebraska – Lincoln or by arrangement with other institutions.
