CSCE 150A (Fall 2009) Homeworks

Note on the programming parts of homeworks: As stated in the syllabus, make sure that your programs compile and run on cse. The easiest way to ensure this is to do all your development and testing on cse. From the lab's downloads page, you can get PuTTY and SSH, install them on your own PCs, and use one or the other to log into cse and work on your programs. (If you're on a Mac, run the Terminal application and log into cse using the ssh command.) To then upload your files via web-based handin, either log into the machines in Avery's general-purpose lab (across from the Math Library) and upload the files from your Z: drive. Alternatively, copy the file from cse to your own computer using the ssh command in the Mac Terminal application, or on a PC with sftp or the file transfer part of SSH.

Note on the creating of PDF files: The non-programming parts of your homeworks require you to submit pdf files. See "Help on Creating PDF Files."
