University of Nebraska–Lincoln Computer Science and Engineering Department Chair Marilyn Wolf has been named General Chair of the International Conference on Information Processing in Sensor Networks.

The International Conference on Information Processing in Sensor Networks (IPSN), co-sponsored by ACM and IEEE, is the leading annual forum on research at the intersection of networked embedded sensing, control, and systems design. IPSN brings together researchers from academia, industry, and government to present and discuss recent advances in both theoretical and experimental research on all aspects of networked systems of sensors and actuators.

Wolf served as Technical Program Committee Co-Chair for IPSN 2020, and is looking forward to her new role in IPSN 2022.

“Conferences are an important part of the research process,” Wolf said. “Participating is a great learning experience, and I very much enjoy working with so many friends and colleagues.”

Congratulations to Dr. Wolf on this exciting opportunity!
