About Me

My name is Xin Dong (董鑫). I am a third year Ph.D. student in the department of Computer Science & Engineering of University of Nebraska-Lincoln, under the supervision of Dr. Mehmet Can Vuran. I am also a member of Cyber-Physical Networking Lab.

My research topic is Wireless Underground Sensor Networks (WUSN). Specifically, I am interested in the wireless communication issues of sensors buried underground. I believe those sensors can be very useful in agriculture. Previously, I also did some research about Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSN).
