Your team (of at least two and at most three people) will
prepare a written proposal about the project that the team intends to
work on
for
CSCE489-CE Senior Design in Spring 2008. The proposal should
contain:
[1-page why] An
introduction to the
general field of and motivations for the proposed project focus.
[1-page what] A
description of the
projected functionalities, main components, and physical appearance of
the final product.
[2-pages how] A
description of the
proposed approaches (designs, algorithms, hardware needed, etc) to
realizing the projected functionalities.
[1-page experience] Justification of
why the proposed project, along with the approaches to accomplish it,
is feasible for your team
[1-page miniproject]
Identify one key
component or a scaled-down version of the proposed project that can be
experimented on as an initial feasibility study and the term project
for this CSCE488 class. Oral reports on all miniproject will be
scheduled in December as Homework 6 (refer to the class web page for
the schedule).

Your
proposal, one for each team, should be
submitted through the CSCE
488 Web handin in pdf format by midnight
on Monday, October 22, 2007.
