I retired in May 2012 and now serve as an emeritus in the department.

Research:

VLSI  Testing:  Low-power design for test: Collaborative research with Zhen Chen and Prof. Dong Xiang (both from Tsinghua University, Beijing) and Prof. Bhargab Bhattacharya, ISI, Kolkata

Document Image Analysis:  Converting web-based tables to abstract representation for a semantic web (Collaborative work with Prof. George Nagy's & M. S. Krishnamoorthy at RPI, Troy, New York, and Prof. Dave Embley at BYU, Provo, Utah)

Computer Architecture: Effective utilization of cooperatively cached CMP  by exploiting set-level non-uniformity in cache block demand  (Collaboration with Prof. Hong Jiang and doctoral students Dongyan Zhan and Junjie Qian)

Teaching:

In most recent years I have taught the following courses: Computer Organization, Computer Professional Development & Senior Design,  VLSI Design at introductory and advanced levels, and VLSI Testing.
