About GC Image

GC Image, LLC (Lincoln, Nebraska) was incorporated in December 2002, as a spin-off of software for comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GCxGC) originally developed in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL).  With core strengths in scientific data processing, advanced visualization technologies, and software design, the company has developed industry-leading informatics software for GCxGC and recently introduced a software package for comprehensive two-dimensional liquid chromatography (LCxLC).  The company's newest project is to develop software tools for high-resolution, hyperspectral, three-dimensional chemical imaging with Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS).  The company's innovative research and development has been supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  Strategic partnerships, such as with Zoex Corporation, pioneer and industry-leading supplier of GCxGC systems, deliver software products into the diverse markets. 

The people of GC Image have a high commitment to the creative endeavor of software with the primary goal of developing solutions for customer needs.  Dr. Stephen E. Reichenbach, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, is the company's founding director.  Dr. Qingping Tao is the company's Vice President for Research and Development.  Mr. Daniel Hutchinson and Ms. Lien Phan are lead scientific software developers.  We look forward to working for you.
