Have you wondered why as a CS major you are required to take Discrete
Structures or Discrete Mathematics? Do these things have anything to do with
Computer Science? With programming? As long as I can program, who needs these
Discrete Structures/Mathematics?
However, there are many things used in CS, and yes, in programming too, that
require you to think mathematically, to solve problems mathematically.
