I am a Ph.D. candidate and teaching and research assistant in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

My research interests are mainly in the areas of wireless sensor networks, computer and network security, high-assurance mobile medical systems, and mobility models.

I received the M.S. in computer science on August 2005 and the M.S. in mathematics on May 2004, both from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

I completed the undergraduate study at Damascus University in Syria and received the B.S. in 1999 and the Pg.Dip. in 2000 in math and computer science.

Prior to joining UNL, I was employed as a software engineer for Softnet Corp.
