Project Assignments

Project Topic Selection (Due: 2:00pm, Thursday, November 8, 2007)
As discussed in class, send me an E-mail consisting of one or two paragraphs describing your approved topic by the due date. That is, complete steps one and two of the Project Proposal section of the Projects Web page by the due date.
Project Proposal (Due: 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 13, 2007)
As discussed in class, submit a short proposal (about 3-5 pages) that outlines your project in more detail. This document will serve as our "contract" for the project, and must follow the standard format of a conference or journal paper. See my technical writing resources page for more information.
Project Report and Demonstration (if necessary) (Due: 11:59pm, Wednesday, December 12, 2007)
The project report must be submitted by the due date. As described in the syllabus, there are no "free late days" for projects. You will loose 25% per day your project is late. If you need to demonstrate a tool or system you developed, make arrangements with me for that demonstration to be completed by the due date.
