ICSE 2015 – taking stock

Over 1300 attendees came to ICSE this year. Around a third of
them were students. Hundreds of new ideas were presented
throughout seven parallel tracks, hundreds of speakers got to
promote their latest work, thousands of animated conversations took
place, and hopefully many new efforts were triggered that will
result in the next wave of software engineering ideas.

A few conference videos are posted here:

And the report that Gerardo and I wrote about the technical track is available here:

The final conference survey will also be available shortly.

The venue was fantastic, and special kudos go to Antonella Bertolino,
the General Chair, for the spotless organization including two magnificent
social events.

After almost 3 years of prep, it was hard to believe it was over so
quickly and I felt that I was missing something. That is, until I realized
how many things I had postponed while prioritizing ICSE 🙂

Looking forward to the next ICSEs!
