Google Testing Results Dataset available for researchers

I spent part of my sabbatical at Google in Mountain View, Ca. I had the chance to be in the trenches, learn about and work with some amazing technology, and get “grounded” about the scale and speed of software development.

I will write more about this experience in the next few weeks, but one of the concrete outcomes of my time at Google was the preparation of a Testing Results Dataset collected on site that is different and offers complementary information to what is available through repositories like SIR or Promise. To give you a an idea of what you can find in the dataset consider that it includes more than 3.5 Million test suite results.

You can download it (no strings attached) at: Dataset
Details about the dataset and its preparation can be found under the FAQs on the same site.
