CSCE 476/876, Spring 2003: AI Course Challenge


The "AI Course Challenge," a yearly contest for CSCE 476/876,  was started in Spring 2000.

The challenge rewards two students with the highest performance by helping them  attend a major, top-level conference in the field.  This year's conference is the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI 2003), to be held in Acapulco, Mexico from Aug 9 to 15, 2003.

The top ranking student will have all expenses payed and will be sponsored by the Constraint Systems Laboratory.
The second top ranking student will be supported up to US$750 towards expenses to IJCAI by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

A student's performance is measured by his or her cumulative grade in the course, including bonuses and challenge questions.
