Textbooks are expensive. Many of your courses will have required textbooks; but we've attempted to find alternatives and supplemental materials that could potentially substitute and that are free. These are not pirated copies or scanned versions. The material below is freely available on the web and in most cases has been explicitly provided free of charge by the author(s). In many cases, the authors have released their materials under a license that allows free distribution and use.
We encourage you to take advantage of these resources and to avoid black-market (pirated) and grey-market versions of textbooks and other copyrighted material. Obtaining, using, or distributing prirated material is a violation of UNL's Student Code of Conduct and should be avoided. Using materials like this is easier and avoids ethical violations like this.
