Making great strides

The UNL CSE Department is listed in the top one-third of ranked U.S. CS Ph.D. programs, and in the top 25 for most categories. On September 28, 2010, the National Research Council (NRC) released its first review of U.S. graduate programs since 1995, and the UNL CSE Department has made great strides.The breakdown of the NRC rankings provided by the site PhDs.org highlights some of our strengths.  For example, using the Quick Start links for computer science, our PhD program is in the top 25 for each preset evaluation:

 

Based on the PhDs.org Quick Start settings that emphasize smaller programs, CSE is listed 9th, with a 90% confidence range of 6-21.
