Student Mentoring CenterThe Mentoring Center, provides UNL Computer Science and Computer Engineering majors with a set of resources that will help them assimilate to college life and encourage them to continue their study in the CSE program. The Student Mentoring Center provides a casual environment where Peer Mentors who understand the pressures facing students, can offer support and help students find answers to their questions. |

Student Resource CenterThe CSE Resource Center is available more than 60 hours a week to assist students with logging in, utilizing available computing resources, and help with course work and assignments. Resource Center Assistants are also responsible for assisting with technical issues during labs, thus making classes run more smoothly. |
Technical Communications Technical communication seminar courses for CSE graduate students are offered by the CSE Department with funding from GPSTI. These courses are not only providing an immediate benefit to students by supporting their work on a thesis, dissertation, or conference paper, but the courses are also preparing the students to become effective communicators in their professional careers. |
