Student Expectations and Time Commitments

• Collaborate with other team members & mentor
• Use technologies availale to facilitate collaboration (i.e. Blackboard tools such as Wiki and forums)
• Attend GEM project Kick-off reception
• Attend GEM project Awards ceremony & reception
• Devote on average 3 - 5 hours a week towards project completion

Parent Expectations and Time Commitments

• Support project involvment and provide oversight on collaboration
• Provide transportation as needed for physical group meetings
• Provide technical support if necessary
• Accompany participant to the GEM project Kick-off reception
• Accompany participant to the GEM project Awards ceremony & reception
