Executive Director of Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, Gallup

Abstract

Diversity is discussed on the news, in the boardroom, and by presidential candidates.  In technical fields, what does diversity mean and how does it affect the way work is done?  This discussion will focus on the career of a female technologist in a male-dominated field, her definition of diversity in technology, why we need to foster inclusive working environments, and advice to embrace diversity in technology.
